What’s the solution to this slippery slope? We now have technology which can hold all your data globally without the need for any centralized database or government app - blockchain technology; digital data held privately. I’ll be tweeting more about this over the next few weeks.

I am tired of all 'conspiracy theories' becoming reality. I wish 'conspiracy theorists' missed it from time to time.

The NHS app has been updated to include far more than vaccine jabs. Julia: "Data relating to mental health, lifestyle, ethnic origin, biometric data and alleged criminal behaviour; what the hell does that have to do with proving you've had two jabs!?" @JuliaHB1 | @silkiecarlo

Sorry, you need to read this more carefully. The link you posted is talking about a decentralised approach to checking id for work, renting etc. It is explicitly NOT going down the central id database route. The NHS app does NOT collect the data you mention (no X in the column)

Theres a section on the website that shows how it will tally up with Augmented technology. Which they are intending to use for both military & civil purposes. The app is basically building the software & getting it into practice while they refine the augmented tech.

I truly don't know why anyone would have apps on their phone. we need to take a look at ourselves and our apparent reliance on our phones and what we think they can do for us. we got here in the last 1000 years without phones - I think we can carry on without them.

pretty bold statement considering we've accepted all the other abuse. i keep wondering which step will be the one too far and i've been shocked each time i think we're there but the machine keeps grinding.

Yeah then they changed it to “test and trace” because it sounds SLIGHTLY less ominous. In any case it cost £37bn+ and has been found by independent enquiry not to have made ANY difference to the spread of the virus!

Last year the goverment allowed the police to ID people from biometric data on drivers licenses and passports from video feeds, they are also introducing the requirement for a biometric ID to vote. This makes the NHS app look like a wristband - but gets zero coverage.

I got the app without thinking when covid started. I then realised it was constantly on tracking everywhere I went so deleted it. Fuck having that follow me constantly!!!

Looks like the National in national health has taken on a new darker meaning.

It’s becoming clear when 45 said, it’s not me they are after, it’s you. I am just standing in their way.

The conspiracy theorists were right! The ignorant don’t want to believe their government is bringing in a full blown social credit system that will rule their lives! We’ve been proven right with every step in relation to covid & will be proved right again with this!

So you are against the Home Office checking to see if you are not suitable, to look after vulnerable people or to house people that might be attracted to vulnerable people or groups Thinking face DBS is an excellent safeguarding process and should be welcomed and not attacked by barnpots

If you wanted to get into venues or go abroad etc you had to show a covid pass on this shitty app, it was/ is unavoidable for a lot of people wanting to live normal lives.

Well what do you think apps do in the background. Now they scan lets say your shopping history and provide you with adds that connect with that shopping history. It now happens on that scale but its not hard to have an app scan your browser history. Just privacy rules in the way.
